HP is investigating the possibility of investing $100 million, and possibly forming a joint venture with Cal-Comp Electronics (Thailand) Plc to build a manufacturing facility in Thailand. HP executives are currently in Thailand to investigate its infrastructure, government regulations, and other logistics. Other countries that HP is looking into are China, Vietnam, India, and Malaysia.
