Faster turnaround times are one of the biggest advantage of 3D printing technology and now a California-based medical device maker, Biolase, has proven this once again. The company has adopted a 3D printing technology developed by Carbon, for the production of urethane cast parts in just 30% of the time it would have taken it using more traditional methods of manufacturing. The company partnered with a 3D printing services provider Dinsmore. Thanks to the technology, Biolase will be able to save more than $10,000 a year from production costs.
