In response to the company’s commitment to sustainability, Canon Generation Green Program makes recycling available nationwide.  Canon recently teamed with FedEx Office, Sims Recycling Solutions and Close the Loop to collect empty PIXMA inkjet cartridges.  The recycling begins at one of the 1,600 FedEx collection locations.  From there, the cartridges will be processed by Sims Recycling in one of their thirteen sites, and then passed on to Close the Loop for material recovery, where they collect plastic to make felt-tip pens and markers, and process the recycled inks for industrial coloring agents.  So, the next time you are out of ink, remember to Reduce, Re-use, Recyle.
